OUTBOUND RECRUITMENT
In the United States, over 520,000 students currently participate in NCAA sports, a number that has been growing consistently for the past 17 years. Additionally, nearly eight million high school students are involved in athletics, highlighting the immense competition at this level.
As of 2024, an estimated 11.12 million students are expected to enroll in 4-year colleges across the nation, according to data from the NSCRC Stay Informed report, which tracks nearly nine million undergraduate and graduate students.
Despite the vast number of high school athletes, fewer than 7% of them go on to compete at an NCAA school after graduation. This underscores the rarity and accomplishment of playing sports at the collegiate level.
